The results of our thermally pulsing asymptotic giant branch (TP-AGB) stars are presented, with emphasis on the abundances and yields of 4He, 12C, 13C, 14N, and 16O. The results of the models are compared to the observed abundances of a sample of Galactic planetary nebulae and the agreement between the observed and theoretical abundances is good. By comparing the observed and model abundances, evidence of hot bottom burning in intermediate mass stars (3.5Msun< M<8Msun) is found with both CN and ON cycling contributing. Evidence of both the second and third dredge-up in planetary nebulae is presented. A discussion of how to identify the signatures of the second and third dredge up is presented. We present our model yields of significant elements (He, C, N) seen in planetary nebulae. We discuss the yields of each element as a function of metallicity.
