Attention is paid to the differences in the spectral dependence of the albedo of Phobos and Deimos in the range of 0.2 - 0.3 μm compared to the analogous dependence for type-C1 and -C2 carbonaceous chondrite samples. The results of laboratory experiments are presented which show that these differences may be explained by organic films coating regolith surface particles on Phobos and Deimos. The organic films may be a result of meteoritic impacts leading to a surface deposit of pyrocarbonaceous-type substances and of the interaction of these with solar wind protons.
