3EG J1837-0423 was detected as the second brightest gamma-ray outburst in the Milky Way in 1995 by EGRET, and was never re-observed at high-energies after that. It was soon established that it was not a blazar, and therefore, as a galactic source constitues probably a new class of sources. As several other objects of this kind, it is expected to burst at any time, in which case we have put up a large observational campaign to observe 3EG J1837-0423 in X-rays, gamma-rays and at radio wavelengths. We plan to trigger the NAPA observations described in the present proposal two and 6 days after an X-ray outburst and a gamma-ray detection. In the case of trigger, we ask for two epochs of 4 hours each, for a total of 8 hours of observations with the ATCA in the 5 and 8GHz bands.
