We report the ongoing NIR flare of the flat spectrum radio source BZQJ0629-1959 also known as CGRaBS J0629-19590. On January 13th,2011 (JD 2455574.804965), we detected a NIR source coincident with the radio position. We determined the flux from this object to correspond to H = 15.246 ± 0.06. The object was not detected by the 2mass survey with a limiting magnitude H ~ 17 for this field. Henceforth, this QSO has had an increase in flux by at least a factor 5 in recent times.
