We performed a study of 93 radio sources belonging to the same 3CRR sample but characterized by different radio and optical classifications. Two main results are presented: 1) FRI sources are less efficient than FRII in converting gravitational energy into radiation; 2) The accretion flow is an important X-ray component in all the FRII radio sources except for Low Excitation Line Radio galaxies (LEGs); LEGs have either the largest ratio between the jet kinetic (Lkin) and accretion power (Lacc) or strong absorption in X-rays.
