We have performed a Fourier transform power spectra analysis of 33 galaxies imaged with IRAC on board of the Spitzer Space Telescope. The spectra show an approximately power-law over a wide range of wavelengths with a gradual steepening from 3.6 or 4.5 μm to 8.0 μm, due to an increasing contribution from gas and dust. We found no correlation between the power-law slopes at radii with active star formation in the 8.0 μm images and the spiral arm morphology. These results were published in Block et al. (2009).
