The plasma universe approach to the structure of the universe considers space to be filled with a network of currents which can undergo pinch compression. The equilibrium structures of such currents are treated in the same way as the structure in laboratory pinches. The difference, for the galactic case, is that gravitational interaction forces between the particles must be included in the analysis. This paper illustrates a simple and straightforward way of achieving this.
