Physical parameters at the extreme outer corona are obtained with the help of the extensive volume of solar wind data available at the NSSDC/WDC-A-R&S. The data is invoked in conjunction with the MHD formulation of the solar wind. The parameters pertain to the the Alfven surface that could be located at about 20-30 solar radii, depending upon the solar wind speed.
