Branching ratios of the two lowest ^4^P terms of neutral phosphorus to ground state have been determined. This was accomplished through high precision intensities ratio measurements of the corresponding UV lines, whose atomic transition probabilities were known with a rather low accuracy. The previous values are indirectly confirmed for the first set and turned out to be reversed for the second one.
