The object K4-46 from the Catalog of Planetary Nebulae is identical to LL Cas (General Catalog of Variable Stars). A conclusion on the binary system and the symbiotic nature of its spectra is drawn on the basis of spectral and photometric observations. It is proposed that the light variation by 3.5 mag, with a period of 286.6 d, is associated with the periodic attenuation of the late spectral class.
