Relationships of asteroidal orbital elements are investigated for the 2:5 Jovian commensurability and also for a certain neighborhood of this resonance. The investigation is based on computer simulation results of the numerical integration of the full equations of the three-body problem (Sun-Jupiter-asteroid) for 500 fictitious asteroids. The limits of variations in orbital elements and the regions of initial data for different types of relationships between variations in asteroidal eccentricity and longitude of perihelion are considered. It is shown that the role of the 2:5 Kirkwood gap in the replenishment of the Apollo and Amor groups may be even greater than the role of other gaps.
