Bulges of spiral galaxies are cornerstones for constraining theories of galaxy formation. Although our knowledge about bulges has improved during the last years, little is known about their formation. Abundance ratios are sensitive to details of galaxy evolution, and therefore represent a powerful tool for the study of the Galactic bulge formation. In particular, radial abundance gradients and the overall metallicity distribution have great potential in discriminating between the main bulge formation scenarios proposed so far, namely, monolithic and secular. We plan therefore to determine abundances in O,S,Ar (and eventually Cl) for a complete sample of planetary nebulae in the galactic bulge, spanning over a wide range of distances to the galactic center. We will thus be able to evaluate abundances gradients in these elements in the galactic bulge, as well as their ratios.
