Diffuse astrophysical emission at wavelengths between 900 and 1200 Angstroms contains unique information regarding the poorly understood hot phase of the interstellar medium. Limits to diffuse far ultraviolet emission have been obtained with a unique rocket-borne spectrograph. The superior quality of these data provide new constraints to physical properties of the hot interstellar medium. These data, when combined with previous longer wavelength ultraviolet emission observations, also provide bounds to theoretical models of the galactic corona. This work has been supported by NASA contract NGR05-003-450.
