We report two SWP IUE observations of HCG 95c, an eight hour exposure and a fourteen hour exposure. HCG 95c (Arp 150) is a spiral galaxy interacting with a large E3 elliptical galaxy. The eight hour exposure (July 1990) showed an emission feature at 1277 Angstroms, tentatively identified as N V, and a possible detection of redshifted C IV at 1600 Angstroms. The second exposure (July 1992) shows an elevated continuum with no distinct emission features. Comparison of the profiles of the two observations show that the object was present in the aperture in both cases, and supports its classification as an AGN. This work was supported under NASA contracts NAS5-31850 and NAG5-1442.
