We report our 64 ks Chandra observation of the Galactic supernova remnant G272.2-3.2. The X-ray morphology shows a limb-brightened shell surrounding the central nebulosity. The X-ray spectra of the outer shell regions show normal compositions, being consistent with the shocked interstellar medium. The central emission shows elevated abundances of Si, S, for Fe, suggesting reverse shocked stellar ejecta from Type Ia SN. We discuss the spatial variations of the spectral parameters and the abundance ratios among individual elements of the central ejecta. This work was supported in parts by SAO under Chandra grant SV4-74018.
