The angular power spectrum of the cosmic microwave background at scales of 0.1 degree has recently been the subject of intense study by several experiments. This part of the spectrum offers both a window into the era of structure formation and constraints on the slope of the primordial power spectrum at the end of inflation. The Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) has been mapping the microwave sky with arcminute-scale resolution for six months in 2007-08. We present ACT's prospects for a power spectrum measurement and our mathematical approach to the problem.
