Between 2007 and 2009, we obtained trigonometric parallax measurements on five nearby M-dwarf eclipsing binary systems using the Fine Guidance Sensor (FGS) aboard the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) with the principal aim of constraining their luminosities (GO program 11213 -- PI: van Belle). The science driver of this project is the direct determination of fundamental astrophysical properties of these five systems to help solve the continuing disagreement between models and observations for low-mass stars. In this proposal, we request four nights at WIYN (HYDRA) and four nights at the KP-0.9m to gather vitally important auxiliary information for our HST data: spectral types, luminosity classes, and absolute magnitudes of the stars used as astrometric reference sources with respect to which the parallax angles of our targets were measured.
