The authors present new high resolution circular spectropolarimetry, taken with the RGO Spectrograph and Pockel's Cell Polarimeter at the AAT, of the T Tauri stars GW Ori, CoD -34°7151, and RU Lupi. These spectra have been subjected to a statistical Zeeman analysis and a 2.3 sigma result for an effective longitudinal magnetic field of -548 Gauss is found in RU Lupi. This field strength is close to that predicted from a model of the wind driving mechanism for this star developed by Lago in which momentum is imparted to the wind by Alfvén waves propagating through a large-scale magnetic field. Three sigma upper limits of 1110 G and 2022 G are set for the strength of the effective longitudinal magnetic field in the stars GW Ori and CoD -34°7151 respectively.
