The height dependence of the coupling coefficients and variations of secondary cosmic rays is examined. Data on the coupling coefficients of the neutron component are used to calculate the partial and variational barometric coefficients of this component. Information about the vertical variations is used to calculate variations of the barometric coefficient and to determine the rigidity spectrum of primary variations.
