Equations for the structure of steady-state accretion disks are solved, taking into account the angular momentum loss by means of tidal effects. It is shown that the surface density is substantially reduced in comparison with the standard model without tides, and if the disk is optically thick, the spectrum of radiation emerging from it due to the dissipation of potential energy is nearly the same as in the case of the standard model. The theoretical radius of the outer edge of the disk is derived, and results are compared with observed tidal radii. It is concluded that the influence of tides should be taken into account in order to obtain a realistic theoretical spectrum.
