The galaxy NGC7673 equals IVZw149 equals Mkn325 equals UGC12607 equals MCG4-55-14 is a non-Seyfert Markarian galaxy exhibiting several bright compact spots. Optical spectra are typical of H II regions. The morphology of the galaxy shows an agglomeration of eight clumps scattered in a common triangular envelope, with tails and bridges, typical of clumpy irregular galaxies. A description is presented of new data from high resolution imagery obtained from first-light photographs of a 2-m telescope. It is found that some of the clumps of Mkn325 have dimensions of approximately 300 pc while others may have diameters not exceeding 100 pc. The working hypothesis is considered that a clump is a complex of an overall size similar to the large-scale dimension of the 30 Doradus giant H II region in the Large Magellanic Cloud.
