An adiabatic vacuum calorimeter is used to measure the heat capacity of daubreelite in the temperature range 58-300 K. The enthalpy of the reaction of daubreelite with metallic zinc is then measured in a high-temperature bomb calorimeter. The mineral associations of daubreelite in meteorites are described, as are the chemical compositions of the minerals coexisting in them.
