Distribution characteristics of the D-parameter, measuring the degree of geometrical similarity between heliocentric orbits, are computed for different types of evolutionary associations of interplanetary objects. These include: (1) changes of orbits by planetary perturbations, (2) dispersion of the products of disintegration of common parent bodies, and (3) the structure of subsystems of objects held together by stability conditions. The results are interfaced with those obtained for the distribution in the Tisserand invariant and in the heliocentric energy. Some conclusions are drawn about the evolutionary processes which may be responsible for the observed distributions.
