Recent 21 cm hydrogen redshifts accurate to about 8 km/s are used to derive zero point corrections, rms uncertainties and the percentage of discordant optical and 21 cm redshifts from previous catalogs. Optical redshifts have a typical rms uncertainty of about 100 km/s, independent of the epoch of the redshift source, and the rms correction factor appropriate to optical redshifts in the RC1 is 1.33, while that for the RC2 is 1.42. Cross-correlation techniques applied to absorption line spectra and conventional techniques applied to emission line spectra yield a rms uncertainty of 37 km/s for a large sample of galaxies. An analysis with a new catalog of galaxy redshifts leads to closer agreement between the luminosity function for close binary galaxies and that for field galaxies by Felten (1977). Redshifts versus magnitude diagrams for central regions of the Coma cluster may contain clumpings of points, which are in agreement with evidence of subclustering.
