Supernova Of Ad 1572, Tycho'S Supernova

The coordinates of the supernova of AD 1572 have been recomputed from the original measurements of Tycho Brahe, Thomas Digges, and Michael Maestlin, in an attempt to investigate the positional discord between the supernova and its remnant. We suggest that the discrepancy apparent from Tycho Brahe's measurements can be attributed to a small systematic error in his instrument and/or his observational technique.
