The peculiarities of the polarimetric behavior of V603 Aquilae are interpreted as due to a contribution of the intrinsic emission of the boundary layer on the surface of a slightly magnetized white dwarf. The reflection of this emission provides the observed phase-dependent linear polarization. The inclination angle of the binary system and the portion of the intrinsic polarization of the boundary layer in the optical (V band) range are estimated. The results of spectral observations of V603 Aql, made with the scanner of the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory, are given. It is concluded that V603 Aql is an intermediate polar.
