The IRAS source 07131-0147 has an optical counterpart which illuminates
a highly polarized bipolar reflection nebula and we suggest that the
object represents an intermediate-aged proto-planetary nebula. The
effective sizes of the silica grains which scatter the radiation to form
the nebula are typically ≤ 0.2 μm.
