We present results from the recent launch of the Extended X-ray Off-Plane Spectrometer (EXOS) sounding rocket payload. The rocket was launched Friday the 13th of November on the Cygnus Loop Supernova Remnant. The payload consists of a wire-grid collimator, an off-plane diffraction grating array and gaseous electron multiplier (GEM) detectors. The instrument is capable of observing the entire loop in the 20-110 Angstrom bandpass with high throughput and resolution (R 100).
