A calibration will be performed to determine the absolute sensitivity of the FOS detectors, as well as check the laboratory linearity calibration. Three spectrophotometric standard stars will be observed in each reasonable detector-grating combination (a total of 14). The observations will be repeated on a regular basis to check the stability of the FOS detectors. The data from these stars will be averaged to form the pipeline response function for the FOS. The stars chosen cover a range of magnitudes, and will also be used to verify the laboratory paired-pulse correction. This program has a high priority compared with other SV activities for the initial observation of each object, while the repeats used to check stability have a medium priority. This proposal replaces the BD+75 sequences in proposal 1320. The PRISM exposures on the red side have been removed because of overlight limits. One visit each to target BD+33 and HZ-44 have been included to compensate for observations lost in the December 1990 HST safing event.
