This sequence must be taken to understand the OTA during Boostrap Phase B. It consists of a series of PC exposures in three filters. The primary filter is F547M, which will give the PSF as a function of position in the chip, and will be used to derive the aberrations of the OTA (WFPC image quality is known to be much better than the present OTA alignments). The other two filters give confirmatory data, allow the investigation of any chromatic effects, and will enable further investigation of the 'finger' artifacts already observed. These measurements will complement the existing scan data and the OCS measurements, and transfer scans to be obtained in proposal 2980.
