Flat Spectrum Radio Quasar 3C 279 (z=0.536) was one of the brightest gamma-ray sources in the sky at the time of discovery. Thanks to the much higher sensitivity and wider field of view than that of EGRET, the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope Large Area Telescope has revealed the source activity in the gamma-ray band in a daily scale. We have organized extensive multiwavelength observations of 3C 279 from radio to gamma ray including intensive satellite observations (such as Suzaku and Spitzer) and optical polarimetric monitoring observations. Flux variability can be seen in all observed energy bands; in particular, the gamma-ray band shows the most violent variations with a change by an order of magnitude in flux during the 1-year observation. In addition, we found a gamma-ray flare event associated with a dramatic change of the optical polarization. In this presentation, we report the 1st-year results of the multi-band behaviors of the source and discuss structures of relativistic jets based on our results.
