Mars was studied via integral photoelectric photometry during a period from August 1975 to January 1976 in the spectral region of 336-798 nm. Peculiarities in the change of brightness during August and September 1975 suggest that a global dust storm took place during that period. Previous observations, obtained from 1954 to 1975, have been used to determine the average phase dependence of the integral brightness of Mars.
