The possibility of improving estimates of the peculiar velocities of galaxies by using several distance indicators and several calibrators is investigated. On the basis of samples of 39 ellipticals and 120 edge-on spirals, it is shown that the multidimensional approach increases accuracy by a factor of 1.2-1.3 as compared with the Faber-Jackson or Tully-Fisher methods. In the case of ellipticals, the most efficient distance indicator is the stellar magnitude, whose calibrators are the velocity dispersion, surface brightness, and color index. In the case of edge-on spirals, the best indicator is the red diameter of the galaxy, whose calibrators are the HI line width and the apparent axial ratio.
