The spatial distribution of earthquake epicenters is investigated here
using the multifractal approach. Multifractal characteristics are
calculated for three seismic regions: Pamir, Caucasus, and California.
The results provide information about concentration, clustering
properties, and intermittency of spatial earthquake distribution.
