The promise of an exciting view of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) at high energies, first revealed by the Energetic Gamma-Ray Experiment Telescope on the Compton Gamma-Ray Observatory, has been fulfilled in just over a year of GRB observations by the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT). Together with the Fermi Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor (GBM), the LAT has sampled a variety of GRBs: short, long, relatively nearby, very distant, and has witnessed a richness of behavior in both their prompt and temporally extended emission. I report here on the wealth of information provided in this short time by Fermi observations of GRBs over seven decades of energy.
