Photoelectric observations of the shell star Omicron And are given for the period ranging from October 1975 through January 1976. The relative brightness variations indicate a pseudoperiodicity of about 0.8 day, which is similar to that of other shell stars. The eclipsing binary period proposed by Schmidt (1959) is not confirmed. The various possible hypotheses which may explain these brightness variations are taken into consideration, and some clues that they are caused by shell activity are provided.
