A higher-order clustering of the X-ray sources in nearby clusters of galaxies (distance class 4 or less) is reported. Out of 48 objects, at least 15 are probably clustered into seven superclusters. The superclustered X-ray sources consist of X-ray bright spots centered on rich clusters, with no detectable emission in between. This implies that any hot gas pervading these superclusters is highly clumped.
