The Cassini-Huygens mission did a flyby of the Saturnian irregular satellite Phoebe during the summer of 2004. A wealth of information was collected on this icy body that is thought to have been captured from a heliocentric orbit in the last stages of the formation of Saturn. Another 25 smaller irregular satellites are now known and their origin and subsequent evolution remains uncertain. In order to better understand these objects we have used the MIPS instrument on the Spitzer Space Telescope together with ground based observations to determine sizes, albedos and rotational periods of the largest of these irregulars. The results have been interperted with the Cassini results in mind to better understand the physical properties of these bodies.
