Concentric semi-circular arcs/rings have been seen in six PPNs, twelve
PNs and one AGB star, which provides crucial insights into the AGB mass
loss history and mechanism. Here I review the observational facts of the
rings/arcs (summary properties in Table 1), and some models accounting
for them.
