Cosmology: Gravitational Lensing
Scientific paper
We investigate the possibility of observing a new type of gravitational
lensing event by clusters of galaxies. The lensed images in such event
will be undistorted yet highly magnified. We propose to use a single
image of such an event as a test for the cosmological parameters, in
particular, the cosmological constant.
