We briefly review the latest evidence for non-baryonic dark matter in the Universe, including cosmological constants. We also review the most recent estimates for SUSY dark matter particle interaction with matter. We then provide a critique of the current search for the dark matter with various detectors and describe one very promising method using powerful background discrimination in liquid xenon.
