We present a complete atlas of optical spectra of white-dwarf stars.
Spectra for all major spectral classes and subclasses are illustrated,
and the variation of the dominant spectral features as a function of
effective temperature and abundance is documented. We present, as well,
spectra of several peculiar or rare types of degenerate stars.
