The three s-only isotopes of tellurium, Te-122, 123, 124 provide a unique opportunity to investigate s-process systematics, including the 'local approximation,' the estimation of the temperature and neutron density during helium burning in red giant stars, and p-process contributions in the mass region. Recent accurate measurements of the neutron capture cross sections of key isotopes in this mass region have enabled an improved analysis of the s-process flow. The absence of absolute isotope abundance determinations for tellurium introduces additional uncertainties into the s-process calculations and constrains the conclusions which can be made with respect to p-process contributions for the tellurium isotopes. An improved set of isotopic data for tellurium is provided as a basis for future s-process analyses until such time as the absolute isotopic composition of tellurium is established.
