IR lines are calculated for AGN by SVMA code. IR line ratios, as
temperature and density diagnostic of the emitting gas, show that the
forbidden S III line ratio increases with shock velocity, following
compression and cooling of the gas downstream. The results are compared
with observations and briefly discussed.
