A detailed analysis of the time variability of the Crab light curve measured by COMPTEL is presented. The 1-10MeV light curves obtained during six observing periods are compared with a template created from the overall data in order to search for differences in shape. The different signal-to-noise ratios and normalizations are taken into account using a bootstrap method. No evidence for time variability of the shape of the light curve is found in the COMPTEL data. The degree of stability of the whole light curve and its three main components is quantified.
