Using the Subaru telescope Suprime-Cam, we have completed a 0.25 square degree on ecliptic Kuiper belt survey to a limiting magnitude of m(r') 27. We find that, to the limit our survey, the luminosity function (LF) of Kuiper belt is consistent with a uniform power-law. We present a best-fit power-law representation of the Kuiper belt LF. We will also present our determination of the observed functional shape of the LF of Kuiper belt, based on an under-lying 2-component power-law size distribution and fit this model to the available Kuiper belt LF survey data. Our detections, when combined with the survey from Bernstein et al. (2004), implies a best-fit size distribution with a break at object diameters 20 - 40 km.
