Recently, it has been showed that (136108) 2003 EL61 and its biggest satellite S/2005 (136108) 1,(55636) 2002 TX300, (13308) 1996 TO66 , OP32, 1995 SM55 and 2005 RR43 are part of a population trans-netunian objects (TNOs) clustered in the space of orbital parameters (41.6Pinilla-Alonso et al. (2007, this meeting) show also that the surface of 2003 EL61, is covered mostly by water ice in an almost 1:1 ratio of amorphous/christalline.
In this talk we present the surface properties of the population and show that this objects are depleted of carbon-chains like CH4 respect to "normal" TNOs. Such carbon depleted population of TNOs could also scatter objects to the inner planetary region producing carbon depleted comets as those already noticed by A'Hearn et al. (1995, Icarus 118, 223).
