The amount of expected flux in compact (0.001-0.1 arcsec) structure
outside a galactic nucleus is calculated for double radio sources under
the assumption that such sources are powered by supermassive objects.
The calculation agrees well with observations of Cygnus A and also with
the upper limits for other radio sources.
