This paper presents the results of a program of absolute spectrophotometry of the nuclei of 68 Seyfert galaxies. The sample comprises all of the 'classical' Seyfert galaxies and nearly all of the Seyferts in the first five lists of Markarian galaxies, as well as several broad-line radio galaxies, quasi-stellar objects, and some Seyferts from miscellaneous source lists. The objects were observed on a total of 19 nights over a 4.5-yr period with the multichannel spectrophotometer at the Cassegrain focus of the 5-m Hale telescope at Palomar Mountain. The wavelength range covered runs from 3140 to 10,680 A with a resolution of 20 A in the blue (shortward of 5720 A) and 40 A in the red. The great majority of objects were observed through a 10-arcsec aperture. Several sources of error that limit the accuracy of the photometry are discussed. The final data are believed to be accurate to an absolute level of about 0.05 mag.
