The gravitational radiation instability which limits the rotation rates of normal neutron stars is studied using superfluid hydrodynamics and dissipation mechanisms. The influences of these superfluid effects on this instability are evaluated using simple analytical solutions to the superfluid pulsation equations. The superfluid dissipation mechanism 'mutual friction' overwhelmingly suppresses the graviational radiation instability according to these estimates. Thus, gravitational radiation does not limit the angular velocities of superfluid neutron stars.
